I Can't Say Anything -Vlad H.

Here's my first full body of my new OC Vladimir Hollow. (based on my current avatar) For some reason I have always found mute people or being mute in general appealing. I'm not sure why, but I always have. It's somehow fascinating to me as well and I've always wanted to make a mute character. So, I finally did. (I have also had to be mute for a day and I actually enjoyed it, though it was hard not to comment on anything since I'm so used to speaking.)

I named this piece "I can't say anything" because on the little notepad in the hand of his creepy teddy says those exact words, although my camera blurred them out and they're really super small so unless I scanned it, I would probably never managed to get it to show. xDD Vladimir is a young, mute boy with nekomimi.(Thank you anime! xD )

He's shy and doesn't get along with people because they usually don't give him a chance to explain that he can't speak...so most think that he believes himself to be better than them and refuses to speak. Causing most kids to pick on him, and hurt him. This also makes him change schools a lot in an attempt to find somewhere that people would pay attention to him. He's a bit of an alley/stray cat like character, as he's very distrusting and doesn't like to be cooped up too long.

He can make some sounds but they are often quiet and not very intelligible. If he tries to make too loud of a sound or too high in pitch the sound lasts for a few moments (though sounds squeaky) before dying off. Sometimes this hurts him, due to the stress on his vocal chords, but other times it just makes him upset. He often does not show how upset and frustrated he is at not being able to talk. He acts very childish and rarely seems sad, although often is.

He has a teddy bear (depicted above) named Dementia "Demmy" Bear (A.K.A "Demmy Teddy" ) because his parents initially thought he had Dementia. (they were extremely paranoid.) Though later on found out by doctors that he was just mute, and nothing else was wrong. As he got older his parents grew more and more frustrated with his lack of speech, forgetting about his condition and thinking he just didn't want to speak. Eventually when his father got mad at his lack of speech, struck him, and he ran away, living in an old abandoned theatre.

He tends to wear alternative, punk, emo and girl's clothing. He tends to wear things that cover his mouth in an attempt to make an image of not being able to speak. Most do not realize, but he believes that someone will and therefore continues to do such things.

Um, that's it I guess. In this picture he was just attacked and bullied by his ignorant classmates and left all alone. Being alone, he feels it safe to let out his feelings, crying in sadness and frustration.
